Many people don't really understand that this is not just a challenge to your leg muscles, heart and lungs, but also a spiritual experience. You get to see a little bit about the local culture and how they live. It is amazing to me how porters earn their living every day.<BR/><BR/>My name is Paulo (Peruvian born). I live in Fort Lauderdale, and have my own business (Web Technologies). I have hiked the Inka Trail 12 times so far, and planning to do it again this December, together with the Salkantay Trail.<BR/><BR/>Ultimately, my plan is to create the best Inka Trail site you can imagine.
